The First Ever Mobile Phone & The First Ever Mobile Phone Call!

Mobile phones (Sorry! we should rather say “Smart Mobile Phones” or “Smartphones“) & mobile phone calls are more than common these days but these were not way back in 1970s! First mobile phone was neither manufactured by Apple nor Samsung (yeah… they rule the mobile industry now but not then!) rather by Motorola in 1973 (Thanks Motorola!). And yep, the first mobile phone call was very interesting as it was made by some Motorola executive (on April 3, 1973 in Manhattan, U.S.A.) to Motorola’s competitor’s executive (in New Jersey, U.S.A.)! We think “April 3″ should be celebrated as “Calls Day” and should be declared an international holiday! What say? (Just kidding!)
