As a general rule of thumb, 7-8 hours of sleep is considered as healthy sleep, right? On the other hand, some people do well with just 5-6 hours while others feel sleepy even after 9-10 hours of sleep! Why? Apart from this, sleep requirement can be affected by sleep disorders like hypersomnia (where person feel sleepy even after 10+ hours of sleep), depression, mental health, sleep debt (means you are cutting your sleep for a considerable time) & medicines you take. Well, If it’s a DNA issues, it’s normal. Nothing can be done about this! But if it’s a medical issue, seek help. Anyways, when it comes to sleep, it’s best to listen to your body needs so that you don’t end-up in accumulating sleep debt!
