Do You Know that initially Twitter logo was simply a blue sign spelling out the company name on a white background? In 2010, Twitter decided to go for a new logo that can symbolize the objectives of the company. Douglas Bowman, the designer of Twitter logo came up with a “Mountain Bluebird” logo because ‘tweets’ sounds just like a bird as these are short, speedy, quick and simple. So, Twitter Bird logo represents “tweets” – the most beloved business of Twitter! The Twitter logo was initially called “Larry Bird” in honour of a former basketball player Larry Bird. In 2012, the Twitter changed the name of its logo to just “Twitter Bird”.
