Google Got Its First Funding & investment From An Indian!

Yes, that’s right! Google founded in America by Larry Page & Sergey Brin got its very first funding from Indian born American businessman, “Ram Shriram“. Domain name for Google was registered on September 15, 1997 & “Google Inc” was registered on September 4, 1998. Post registration , Ram Shriram (despite being skeptical about Google’s future!) was the first investor who invested $ 250,000 in Google & rest is history (Thanks Mr. Shriram for being part of a company who changed the world we knew!). Now he serves as founding board member of Google & has net worth of $2.1 billion as of March 2017.
