Well, being a non-vegetarian is not a crime under many laws but certainly it is under some religions, cultures, traditions, beliefs & few animal welfare laws! Anyways, to answer the question we asked in this post title, India is the country where largest number of vegetarians live. As per one 2014 survey, India is home to 360,576,000 vegetarians which is largest in the world. Surprisingly, India has more number of vegetarians than the sum total of rest of the world vegetarians!
